Nitrate Dump Post Rain Event

This happened in thirty minutes this morning in western Iowa. I can barely contain my anger and frustration at the blatant disregard for the land. Iowans have know for years now that future weather will bring stronger rain events.

We need to stop this madness!

Looking south on Indian Creek. The drain pipe from the tile line couldn’t keep up with the water flow. The soil is washing down the bank. At least there is a bank with vegetation!

No wonder our state will become a desert some day.

What do farmers think when they witness this destruction?
